Well, it rained during the night and early this morning, so I had to wait for it to clear up a little. I was looking for something a bit different than the last few days, and found it - a contemporary. And, please notice the clearing clouds! (Yes, it does occasionally rain in Southern California!) I also scoped out some additional streets for future houses!
I liked the clean look of this contemporary entry area. While I usually go for a tighter crop, I have been including some plant material in each of my images, and to get these plants, I had to go wider! So, it's more of a 'real estate' view than solely a "gate" or "door" view. Oh, and on this one, I did actually take it from inside my car, out the driver's window!

Another beautiful entry Carol! These are looking really good together in thumbnail view.
Well, as you can see, I'm late and doing my comments tonight and didn't realize it had rained when I posted the last comment. Has anyone come out to talk to you when you take the pics? Obviously not today, but you know what I mean.
A lovely photo. This one looks really neat and tidy. You have a very fascinating gallery.
I like this one with the crisp clean lines - another very impressive set of doors. Love the pathway too.
The gates are wonderful and you are capturing theme very nicely.
Nice and clean, and I like the straight lines. No curves in this photo.
Another gorgeous entry and I am glad to see you FINALLY get some weather (hee hee). I don't normally care much for contemporary but the addition of the plants really softens this nicely. I think it's nice in the softer light too...may have seemed really harsh with that bright sunlight....serendipity??
This one looks very stark and clinical and not very welcoming compared to yesterday's one. The matching tones and brickwork all work very well for a great real estate shot. Well done.
I like modern with a touch of warmth like this one. The plants go well with the design and I'm glad you included them. I think they are part of the entrance so you choose well.
From your car? Wow, it doesn't look it. I love the sky behind the house, it somehow makes it a bit surreal.
Absolutely gorgeous. I'm really surprised and impressed that the sky didn't blow out in this while you kept all the beautiful details in the plants against the warm yet uninviting wall. I'm curious too if people ever hassled you when taking these pictures.
