Day 20 - I Can See (Not So) Clearly Now...

We had intermittent heavy rain today, so I couldn't go out walking. Instead I drove around, looking for some interesting gates close to home. Most of the wooden doors and gates I saw were dark from wetness. I was surprised to find this frosted glass entry gate showing the lighter courtyard behind. You can see the plants have really been pummeled by the rain. I'm sorry I didn't get a straight shot, but I was shooting from the driver's side, through the open passenger window, with my point and shoot!

There is a promise of light behind the door. The simple modern door seems to be a contradiction to the stonework on the steps and the wall. Good find & photo.

The light behind the door makes me want to see what's behind it. I like the big numbers on the wall. I was wondering as I looked at the photos in your gallery whether we would get to see you front door?

This is a nice find. I like the slight wetness of the stones, it gives them a lot of depth. This door is more unusual as it hides part of itself but there is a nice lightness to it with the glass part. I'm so glad you have decided to continue this challenge. I love seeing through your eyes.

It's a very nice door, I like the way the light shines through it.
It's a good image with a point and shoot too, your eye is wonderful for finding these doors.
You gallery is looking so good!!

Love the glow through the door and it looks like the door to a very modern house. I still can't believe what a variety of very fancy doors you have in your neighbourhood. Nice one.
