Electric gates guard the entrance to this home. Notice the blue sky. Usually our sky is not quite so blue. But the good thing is that it made for a phenomenal sunset. Bonus picture below is tonight's sunset! Magical!! The island is about 26 miles offshore. Some days, due to smog and haze we can't even see it. Winter is the best for clearer air and long distance views. Oh, and to answer Eury's post, all of the gates and doors are from different houses.

oh, another wonderful gate. Does this belong to the same house where they had the medieval doors yesterday. I see they have the same type of rivets on the electrical door and similar pillars although the pots definitely are different. All your photos are wonderful. I always can't wait to see what you upload, I'm even here before you post at Worth! ;-)

This was here then gone, so wasn't sure if you were going to post it. It is gorgeous. So devoid of homes and architecture and just full of that wonderful sunset. Just lovely.

Big, impressive looking gates, but for all that security, I have to laugh when it looks like someone could climb through the gaps in the railings if they wanted to anyway. Although they couldn't drive a truck in there... Nice angle of view.

I had to comment on your sunset. Really pretty stuff. I love the tree silhouetted against the sky. I think it's my favourite thing about the scene, and makes the shot imho.

They are nice gates but that sunset is awe inspiring, just wonderful.
What a pity such a stunning land is "ruined" by smog. About time for some anti-pollution awareness campaigns.
