The sun was out, the sky was clear, and look what I found for today's gate!! How fun! Whimsically shaped gate, freeform wrought iron. It just made me smile when I drove by! Isn't this fun? Don't you wish you knew who lived in a house with a gate like this? (So do I!) And yes, I think this one will be tough to beat!

You're absolutely right! What a fun entrance. I'd love to be able to see behind the doors. This a a great find and fits very snuggly into your gallery.
How odd - someone is a creative artist in iron work.
I just love it!!!
Oh how neat! That is a really awesome one!
I also think I would like to see inside. Someone who gets something like this done, is obviously very artistic and not afraid to show it. No melding into the crowd here! What I also love is how it makes me feel like if Lord of the Rings was set in the future or on an alternate universe, it has a very fantasy/science fiction slant to it. Amazing find and as usual, well taken and post-processed. I'm so glad that even though you are no longer doing the final hxh, (due to extraordinary circumstances) that you are continuing to complete the challenge anyways. Love your gallery.
In answer to Eury, I challenged myself to taking at least one picture a day of an interesting door/gate, and I have continued to do so. Uploading/posting was my only issue, so as far as the "challenge" - I'm still being challenged! Of course I'm sad to miss the final H2H, but, really, that's just icing on the cake! :)
Dang this is awesome. Let's see if you can find something more awesome then this. That will be a challenge. I love how the ironwork on the door kinda matches the branches on those small trees. FANTASTIC!
Wow! Looks like it belongs in a fairy tale. (I am so living in the wrong neighborhood.)
That's the coolest looking gate yet! Not only is the wrought iron so quirky, the gate itself is some strange shape. The people who own that must be really artsy.
This reminds me of Barcelona and Gaudi. I love his architecture, his natural style. You are lucky to live in a neighbourhood with so many interesting gates & doors.
And like all the previous shots this one shows the best of the entrance, you can credit yourself for that.
Very pretty. Love the pink flowers on the trees and it's symmetrical but still organic in its shape. Just beautiful.
Another fabulous, and so well photographed and described as always. I hope this isn't owned by a tall basketball player ;-)
