We noticed this door as we drove down a street in Park City. Actually it was the pillars that drew my attention behind a deep "lawn" of snow! Backing up the car to take a picture, we then noticed the scene behind us reflected in the window panes surrounding the door! I guess the people who built this house couldn't decide on a style - shingle siding, stucco pillars and a rough-hewn rustic door. They covered all their bases.

I have to admit, I kind of cringed when I noticed the pillars with the shingles .. but what a marvelous door, very warm and rustic looking. Great find!
It looks very grand but for some reason I get a sense of lonliness. As if the person behind the door has closed everyone out.
A very interesting and eclectic combination of styles. What a lovely find for novelty value.
Weird combination of styles as you pointed out, the pillars are way too thick for my liking.
The plants also look odd as if they are struggling to surround the door, which I do like for it's rustic appeal.
Re-done without the singles and the pillars it would be a nice entrance, it's too fussy.
It's interesting what you are finding! :-)
Some people just want to have it all. The mix & (mis)match of the entrance makes me wonder about the interior.
It does make for a very interesting find because it's out of the ordinary and tells a story. Great job to notice and shoot the reflection of the landscape.
I think the plants look like a left over Christmas Wreath. This fits in quite well with your local shots, except for the snow!
